I stepped on my mat for the very first time in 2004. Initially drawn to the physical aspects of yoga, I soon discovered it is so much more than a physical practice.
I was intrigued by the way conscious breathing made my mind and body feel. There’s just something about the relaxed, yet energized way you feel after a good yoga class. The inner balance, peace and mental clarity combined with the physical challenge had me hooked.
In 2017, I decided I wanted to further my knowledge and experience, so I could share this amazing, life-changing practice with others. I pursued and completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification and began teaching a month later.
Many wonderful teachers have inspired my practice and influenced my teaching style. When you come to my class, I want you to experience every aspect of this powerful practice. I truly believe all progress and growth takes place just outside of your comfort zone, so I encourage my students to be challenged and to find their edge each time they step on their mats. Just show up with an open mind, breathe, and don’t take yourself too seriously. Yoga is for everyone.
