YinNidra is a deep, guided meditation practice. Both meditation and yoga nidra help activate the relaxation response and improve the functioning of your nervous system and endocrine system, which affects your hormones. Nidra helps cells regenerate and repair, and helps decrease anxiety and improve your mood. A 20 minute Nidra practice holds the restorative benefits of 2 hours of sleep; we will practice Nidra for approximately 30-40 minutes, so you will leave feeling relaxed, and rested.
We will begin practice with a few deep restorative yin yoga postures to help your body fully relax, so then as we transition into our Nidra practice, your mind will better be able to relax.
This practice is typically offered on the first Friday of every month as a workshop, We just ask that you register through MindBody, or at the studio so we know how many to anticipate attending!
